Where Crows Fly is an expressive oil painting inspired by the energy and movement of birds in the landscape. Working with a restrained palette of ochres, creams, greys and blue-greens, I sought to capture atmosphere through bold, gestural marks and layered paint. The work is less concerned with a specific location than with conveying a sense of space, weather and the fleeting rhythms of the natural world.

Summer Bounty is an expressive celebration of a garden at its most vibrant. Working intuitively with layered colour and energetic mark-making, I sought to capture the abundance, movement and vitality of flowers in full bloom. Rather than describing individual plants in detail, the painting explores the experience of being immersed in a summer garden - the changing light, the abundance of colour and the sense of energy that flows through the space. Built through successive layers of acrylic paint, the work balances observation with spontaneity, allowing forms to emerge and dissolve. The result is a joyful and atmospheric response to the natural world, inviting the viewer to experience the garden through feeling, memory and colour.
