I create art that dives into the raw beauty of nature through an expressive and intuitive lens. My paintings are a deliberate exploration of flowers, landscapes and moods, approached instinctively.
From a young age, influenced by my father's forward-thinking mindset, I have developed a keen awareness of the paramount importance of environmental stewardship. Through my work I endeavor to capture the beauty that surrounds us without the constraints of a predetermined plan. I paint with spontaneity and less intention, allowing each piece to unfold organically. The result is a visual narrative that reflects the untamed, magnificence and dynamic aspects of the world around us.
Lynn Keddie, a British contemporary painter explores the energy of flowers, landscapes and abstract forms of nature.
Despite earning a BSc from London University in 1981 and following a prosperous stint in the London business arena, she relocated with her family to Wiltshire in 1995. There she began delving into garden photography with remarkable success and crucially she reignited her passion for painting. Drawing inspiration from acclaimed artists: Alice Mumford RWA, Louise Balaam NEAC RWA, Sarah Spencer RAS NEAC, and Paul Newland NEAC RWS, Keddie honed her skills. Her dedication bore fruit as she garnered recognition through multiple award nominations, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey.
