The artwork is on a wooden cradled panel. Various mediums were used in the work including oil paint, mica powder, gold leaf,oil sticks. Textural marks were made in the wax using various stencils and tools including a leaf print.

Oil, cold wax, oil stick,gouache and other mediums

The painting is on Arches fine grain, cold pressed, 140lb oil paper. It is built up of many layers of various mediums which have been scratched into and marks made on to create depth to the piece.
